FIXTURE AT TE RAPA

WAIKATO CARD PROSPECTS (Special) Auckland, Feb. 19. The turf should be perfect for the Waikato summer fixture at Te Rapa to-morrow, for some rain fell in the middle of the week and it was needed. Fields are up to the usual standard, with a division in the first event only, which will be a relief to everybody concerned. The Storey Memorial and other events have filled very well. Lou Rosa has a big weight to carry in the Storey Memorial Handicap and Beau Leon may be preferred after having revealed a glimpse of returning form. Gay Rosette is speedy and Landveyor should improve. The three-year-old Indian Princess will stimulate interest and she is a possibility. Volifox, Sealaw, Clinch, Foxlore, Airport and Gay Lally are the best of the others. Gay Rosette and Indian Princess are favoured. After good efforts at Trentham Neenah will be in demand for the President’s Handicap, and Black Thread may be a danger. Horses in form for to-morrow are the following:— 11.45: Whatawhata Hack.—First Division: Peter Gregor, Riverlands Ro. Second Division: Frustration, Jeff. 12.40: Frankton Hurdles. —Acreman,

Hunto, Imperium. 1.28: Juvenile Handicap.—lmaman,

Royal Glory, Subadar. 2.15: Storey Memorial.—Gay Rosette,

Indian Princess, Beau Leon. 3.2: Hack Cun. —Royal Merit, Ringlight, Lady Reynard. 3.49: Puketaha Handicap.—Representative. Nizam. Chain Acre. 4.36: President’s Handicap. Lady
