MATCHES BEHIND SCHEDULE Officials of the Gonville Tennis Club report that attendances of members have decreased since the Christmas and New Year holidays and that club matches are well behind schedule. The match committee has announced that all members, particularly in club events, must be in attendance this week-end and the following, otherwise they will be defaulted. Results of game: recently played: Women’s Open Doubles: Miss Bourne beat Miss Cross, 6-0, 6-2; Miss Healey beat Miss D. Marshall, 6-4, 6- Miss Craig beat Miss Hammond, 5-6, 6-4, 6-0. Men’s Handicap Singles.—Cook (-60) beat Meuli (-50), 9-5; Dashfield (-15 2/6) beat Stewart (-30), 9-3; Williams (15 -3/6) beat Devlin (-15), 9-7; Christensen (-15 5/6) beat Hayhow (-30 3/6), 9-5. Women’s Handicap Singles.—Miss Godfrey (scr.) beat Miss Craig (-50), 7- Miss Lange (15 2/5) beat Miss Bourne (-50), 7-3.
