ALLIED POLITICAL CONFERENCE (Recd. 7 p.m.) Washington, Feb. 17. The Christian Science Monitor’s Washington correspondent says that well-informed circles understand that an ail-in Allied political conference is in the making in order to pave the way for action on the following questions : 1. The early establishment of a United Nations council to integrate th .• conduct of the war. with Britain, America, Russia and China taking the iead in deciding strategic policy. 2. A discussion ot security in the Pacific, with particular reference to Colonel Knox s recent proposal that Ann i ice should acquire Pacific .bases in ordei to prevent future Japanese aggression. 6 The submiss:on of the Atlantic Chartei and the four freedoms to a legislative council of all the Uniteo Act.on:: as a corner-stone of foreign poi cy.
