WAITOTARA BOWLING
HANDLEY BANNER MATCH (0.C.) Waitotara, Feb. 15. Waitotara was successful in winning the Handley Banner from Waverley in a match played there on Saturday afternoon. The green was fast and some very keen bowling ensued. Waitotara was leading 13-7 on the thirteenth head, when the Waverley skip trailed the kitty for 4. Waverley team then rallied, assumed the lead and, with four beads to go, was leading 19-14. Waitotara went on to score 1,1, 2, and a 3. Details are: L. Munro, F. J. Hopkinson, E. W. Lee, I. D.
