Senior-Sergeant F. Culloty is spending his holiday leave at Kai Iwi. Sir Robert Armstrong Jones, distinguished expert in mental diseases, is dead, states a London cablegram. Born in 1857, he had a noted medical career. He was made a temporary lieutenant-colonel in the Great War and was consulting physician in mental diseases to the military forces. He travelled extensively in Europe after the war and was knighted for his services to medical science. Sir Robert Jones was a member of numerous societies associated with medicine and science.
