CHARGED WITH THEFT
ARMY DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE AT DUNEDIN. (P.A.) Dunedin, Jan. 26. Charged with the theft of £27, the property of the New Zealand Government, John Gavin Mclntyre, employed in the Army Department, appeared before Mr. H. W. Bundle, S.M., in the Police Court this morning, and on the application of Detective-Sergeant Hall was remanded until Friday. Detective-Sergeant Hall said the circumstances were similar to those involved in the charges against eight men who were before the Court yesterday. Bail was allowed in the sum of £25, with one surety of a similar amount.
