London, Jan. 4. The chief Russian political commentator, M. Viktorov, broadcasting from Moscow, declared that 1943 must see a decisive United Nations’ victory. The initiative on the eastern front and In Africa was entirely in the hands of Russia and the Allies. The British had crushing aerial superiority on the Western front. The American army was reaching 5,000,000, of which 1,000,000 were overseas. The British Army was already the same size as the German army ana was being armed with the most modern weapons, while the British-Soviet-American coalition’s reserves were rapidly developing. "Operations on the same scale as the Russian-German lighting will i start in 1943,” he said.
