TWO JOCKEYS INJURED
RACING AT STRATFORD. Taken by ambulance to the Stratford Hospital after he injured a foot when his mount went too close to the rails in a race at Stratford on Saturday. F. Meynell, a Te Rapa jockey, was discharged after an X-ray examination revealed that no serious injury hnd been suffered. Another rider, R. W. Shaw, who had two falls on successive days from his mount in the hurdle races, was taken to the hospital on Friday suffering from slight concussion. His condition on Sunday night was reported as satisfactory.
