CHARGED WITH ARSON
WANGANUI MAN REMANDED. When he appeared before Mr. J. H Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, charged with arson, Norman Charles Williams, labourer, aged 56 years, was remanded to appear again on January 12. It was alleged that he wilfully set fire to a house at 12 Nixon Street on January 2. Detective-Sergeant J. Murray applied for the remand. Accused was admitted to bail in his own recognisance of £2OO, with two sureties for £lOO each.
