R.A.F. PLANES ATTACK MAGWE AND AKYAB

(Recd. 12.15 a.m.) London, Jan. 3. A communique from R.A.F. headquarters in New Delhi states: "Hurricanes yesterday attacked Magwe airfield from a low level with cannons and setting fire to grounded plane:- Blenheims bombed two satellite airfields at Akyab. Other fighters irobabiy sank two small steamers with cannon-fire. Bombers south of Akyab damaged coastal craft. None of our planes is musing.”
