R.A.F. CONTROL OF SKIES OVER ATLANTIC
Rugby, Dec. 14. “The danger of the l-'ocne Wulf has virtually been eliminated and we have now almost complete contril of the skies over the Atlantic,” said WingC'ommander Russell, of the R.A.F. Coastal Command, speaking at Liverpool. ‘‘The U-boats are becoming more wily, but in spite of this the Battle of the Atlantic is progressing very favourably. Our coastal lighter patrols have considerably less trouble from enemy air interception.” 8.0.W.
