RELIEVED OF OFFICE

PREMIER OF SIND FORCED BY GOVERNOR Karachi, Oct. 10. The Premier of Sind, Mr. Allah Baksh has been relieved of his office by the Governor of Sind. Three members of the Sind Council of Ministers resigned following Mr. Baksh's dismissal.

The Governor suggested that Mr. Baksh should resign, but the Premier refused. The Governor in a statement said he had discussed with Mr. Baksh regarding the Premier's renunciation of British honours, after which he had no option but to inform Mr Baksh that he no longer possessed the Governor's confidence and therefore could not continue in office.
