POLISH AIRMAN’S SUCCESS

Rugby, Sept, 25. The Polish pilot of a Wellington bomber who was attacked by two Junkers 88’s in the Bay of Biscay yesterday, shot down one and forced the other to break away. This was the third Junkers destroyed in the Bay or Biscay yesterday by the Coastal Command, two others having been shot down by Beaufighters.—B.O.W.
