SPANISH RESTORATION
PLANS FOR DON JUAN’S RETURN London, Sept. 24. A Berne message says that the Madrid correspond p nt of the Berliner Tagblatt says that General Franco and the Spanish Royal Family have completed principal negotiations “for Don Juan's return as King of Spain, but that the date of the restoration is stid uncertain.” Den Juan, the late King Alfonso’s third son, is at present living in L-ausanne. NO TRUTH IN STATEMENT (Recd. 11.15 p.m.) London, Sept. 25. It is learned in London that there is no truth in the statement that negotiations have been completed for the return of Don Juan to Spain. The statement was originally attributed to the Madrid correspondent of a Berne newspaper, but the fact that the newspaper has no correspondent in Madrid indicates that the report is of German
