TRAFFIC BREACHES
MOTORISTS AND CYCLISTS WARNED “Written notices were issued to ; considerable number of motorists fo breaches of the traffic regulation during the month of April,” said th chief traffic inspector of the Wanga nui City Council, Mr. H. E. Tipper yesterday. “Despite the large num ber of breaches no accident of air consequence came under the not;o ( of tia.iic inspectors. “Educational methods have bee: adopted by city inspectors, particularly at peak periods. Cyclists ha\. been warned against the practice o: riding more than two abreast ant failing to keep to the left. These users of roads have also been told o. the necessity of having efficient reflectors and a portion of the bad mudguard painted white. “Pedestrians who have become la? and adopted the habit of j,ay-walkin-have also received attention and havi been issued with sharp warnings,’ said Inspector Tipper.
