FARMER’S WILL
INSTITUTE FOR BLIND TO BENEFIT (P.A.) Invercargill. April 21. Generous bequests totalling £2500 to religious and charitable institutions are provided for* in the will of Mr. William Walker, farmer, of Dipton, who died recently. The residue of the estate, which may amount to several thousands of pounds, is to go to the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, Auckland. Probate has been granted by Mr. Justice Kennedy and the value of the estate is sworn at under £31.000. Private bequests total £ll,OOO- - after £2500 has been paid to religious and charitable institutions, the residue will be paid to the Blind Institute. Death duties will be substantial. but if the property can be disposed of at near valuation the residue will be a fairly large amount.
