Such action would prevent the association from arranging competitions or gatherings of any kind. "We don't, know how long the war will last. It. might, go on lor a long time, but it might eno sooner than we expect," said Mr. Lissette when stressing the need for keeping the associa--1 tion together as much as possible Mr. A. Macnab said he thought the association, while temporarily in recess, should pay its way out of revenue from membership. Funds in hand .should be conserved till activities were resumed. * “If members are loyal enough to pay their subscriptions we should be able to carry on out of revenue,” said the president, Mr. W. Craig.
