CERTAIN RESERVISTS

CALLING UP CANCELLED A supplement to the New Zealand Gazette cancelling notices in previous issues of the Gazette, calling up reservists for military service, was published yesterday. The list contained 159 names, of which 12 were in the Area No. 6 (Wanganui). Wanganui district men affected are:— J. G. Curtis, clerk, 278 Victoria Avenue (already a member of the Armed Forces); J. R. Glentworth, 4 Fife Street, Durie Hill (member of 3rd. Division); B. Herewini, labourer, Forestry Department, Erua (member of 3rd 'Division); A. J. Murphy, labourer, Kai Iwi (member of 3rd Division); B. Trott, driver, 26 Argyle Street (not a member of class called up); E. J. Waldron, lorry driver, Tangiwai (not a member of class called up).
