FOR GALLANT MALTA
FURTHER N.Z. GRANT (P.A.) Wellington, April 20. Further aid for the gallant people of Malta has been given b, the National Patriotic Fund Boai'u of New Zealand by making a grant of £2500. Two other grants have been made previously, one of £2OOO, the other of £2500, so the latest contribution brings the total amount given by the Patriotic Fund Board to £7OOO. A letter received from the Commissioner for Malta in Australia stated that casualties and damage caused during the last four months have been on an unprecedented scale.
