FURTHER CONTRIBt TIONS. Wanganui’s quota for the combined Provincial Patriot.e Council’s 11,0(0,0"0 appeal, v.hion wa- originally £14,000, has been increased to £20,000. The reason for this increase, which is general throughout New Zealand, is the increased number of men being called up and the resultant increase in the demahd for patriotic funds. The Wanganui Patriotic Committee, early in t>-e week decided to call for contrikut.ons in the form of bomber bonds aid national savings bonds.
