FEW COMPLAINTS
PATRIOTIC PARCELS (P.A.) Wellington, March 31 Publicity given to complaints re garding the distribution of patriot! parcels has led to inquiries being mad by the Wellington R.S.A. among me: who have returned from overseas. Th secretary of the association, Mr. 1 W. Woolley, said to-day that he ha talked with a large number of re turned men and had found that com plaints were comparatively rare. A of the men said that they had bee: particularly well treated while in hos pital, and those who had travelled t Wellington from other centres wer particularly appreciative of the treat ment they had received from patrioti organisations along the route. The main complaint heard, said Mi Woolley, was that short supplies o parcels had reached some groups c men in the field ani they had had t draw lots for them. Some of the me: considered that this was due to altera tions in strength of which the distri butors were not aware. Another com plaint was that the parcels receivei were "no good,” but this type of com plaint was due to the contents con sisting of what the receiver did no want at that time, and that could no be attributed to any lack of care oi the part of the patriotic organisation
