PROBATION GRANTED YOUTH FAILURE TO ACCOUNT Failing to account for £8 Ils 7d. Mervyn Seymour Hopper, aged 18 years appeared before the WangaI nui Magistrate’s Court charged with Iheft. He was admitted to 12 months’ orobation by Mr. J. H. Salmon. S.M. Detective-Sergeant J. K. Robertson, who appeared for th** police, said that Hopper was employed as a driver bv the Wanganui Aerated Water Company. The money was collected from customers and not paid in to the firm.
