HOW MACARTHUR PARTY GOT AWAY (Recd. 7.5 p.m.) New York, March 19. The Chicago Sun's correspondent at Melbourne says that General MacArthur and party dramatically escaped from Batan in speedboats. They travelled for two nights, hiding out for two days, and reached their rendezvous in the Philippines “nevernever land," and waited there for three days for the pianes which carried them to Australia.
