AUSTRALIAN LOSSES AT SINGAPORE
London, March 13. Australian casualties in Malaya and Singapore were 17,021 killed and prisoners of war. It is believed that 16,744 are ‘srisoners and that 287 were killed before the real battle for Singapore began.
