“CAN WEAR SHORTS”

A message from West Palm Beach (Florida) states:—Mayor Hitt to-day granted the request of women employees of the City Had permission to wear slacks on auty to enable them to cycle to work to save automobile tyres. “They can wear shorts as far as I am concerned,” the Mayor added.
