APPEALS HEARD IN MARTON TERRITORIAL SERVICE To hear appeals against service with the Territorials the Wanganui District Manpower Committee sat in Marton yesterday. Mr. F. Purneii. presided, and with him were Messrs. D. G. O’Toole and H. Adams. Apneals and decisions were: C. E. Hooper, volunteer fireman, appeal by Marton Borough Council, to be released from camp on finishing three months’ training ; W. J. Sutton (volunteer), retort-house worker, appeal by Marlon Borough Council, adjourned sine die; A. J. Radford, farm hand, appeal by R. C Eolstead. dismised conditionally on reservist not being called before June 15; P. R. Snackman. sub-station operator, appeal by Director of National Service, adjourned sine die; T. C. Bunting, line ganger, appeal by Director of Nalional Servie '. adjourned sine die; L. H. Knox (volunteer), appeal hy Public Works Department, adjourned sine die; R. J.
