Thursday, April 2, to Tuesday, April 7, 1942, inclusive, no additional express or passenger trains w’ill be run for distances exceeding 100 miles. Normal passenger trains and railcar services will run as usual (except on Good Friday, when a special timetable will operate), but persons who desire to travel more than 100 miles during the restricted period must be prepared to give adequate reasons for travel and on acceptance of their application must reserve their seats. Application for permission to travel and for seat reservations during the restricted period will be received on ■ and after Monday, March 16, 1942.
