FORECAST BY CHANCELLOR OF EXCHEQUER. (Recd. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, March 11. In commenting qn the Chancellor of the Exchequer's forecast in the House of Commons yesterday that the total requirements for the current year were likely to be not less than £4.250,000,000, the Press generally welcomes his promise to guard against extravagant and wasteful spending.—B.O.W.
