ALTERATION IN HOURS AT WELLINGTON 'P.A.' Wellington. March 11. Consideration is being given to a alteration in the hour closing shops nt Wellington and in the environs on late night.', as is being done from this week in Auckland. Wil.-on. that the Government approves the principle of eliminating late shopping night, thus reducing th - congregation of people in the oi.'. during the cvenim and hours : fo darkness. 1 Mr. Wilson suggested that the Wellington City Council, in col’abor.ition with local auth'.ruio< in the Hutt • Valley and surrounding districts and interests more direct! v concerned. ’ should consider Iho application of the Closing of Shops (late night) Emergency Regulations, as has been decided upon at Auckland.
