DEATH (.XX I RaS SI DDEN LY. A Maori woman who was reputc i io have been born 107 years ago has died suddenly in the Waitotara Valley. She was Mrs. Ngarongo Kauika, ano had lived in the Waitotara Valley district practically all her life. Mrs. Kauika was a widow and lived in a whare or. her own. but was attended regularly by neighbours and a married daughter who lived nea.-rc . It is understood that death was due to natural cauS'es, and that an inqu* -’ will not be necessary.
