Miss Amy Leila Gibbons, thii\. daughter of the late Robert Georg, and Sarah Ann Gibbons, died in Wan- ■ ganui on Wednesday. Before coming to Wanganui. Miss Gibbons livec 1 in Patea and Gisborne with her parents. On her arrival in this city she lived with her brother, Mr. Hopefu Gibbons. During the last, war she was a prominent war worker and alsc took a keen interest in the* Victoria League. She was a foundation member of the Wanganui branch of the league and at the time of her dcatlwas a vice-president. The funera will leave Christ. Church following ; service which will commence at 2.3' p.m. to-day for the Wanganui old cemetery.
