WOMENS BASEBALL
SIX-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT A *tx-a-»ide tournament w.u conducted by the Wanganui Women's Baseball Association on Saturday under boisterous conditions, a gusty wind and occasional shou tis making playing rather difficult. The competition was run on knock-out lines, with the various teams handicapped. The tournament resulted in Southern Cross defeating Checkers in the lilial.
