SPECIAL POWERS GRANTED FOR MAYOR
DECISION IN WELLINGTON (Press Assn.) Wellington, Dec. 20. The Wellington City Council, at a special meeting in committee at noon to-day. granted the Mayor. Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, special powers to act in any emergency without calling the council together, should the circumstances I demand.
