PLAN FOR DISPERSAL OF CROWDS
AUCKLAND STREETS TWO TRIALS TO BE HELD. • Press Assn.» Auckland. Dec. 15. A detailed plan for the dispersal of street crowds and the occupants of buildings from the central business district of Auckland to trench areas and other available open spaces in the event of an alarm has been drawn up iiy the central committee of the E.P.S. Two trials of the plan will be held this week. i According to present intentions the i day of each trial but not the hoar ■will he announced beforehand, together with the form of warning I signal to be employed. Dispersal will I be controlled by members of th(* Law ■and Order section of the E.P.S.. in- ■ eluding regular police and traffic j officers, assisted by the force of the Warden peisnnn®! wearing armlets. ! Prompt obedience to their orders v*il be required.
