The Government has officially learnt of a further list of reprisals just published by the German authorities. This week the Government requested a considerable reduction in the very high number to be shot, which provoked deep uneasiness among all Frenchmen. The Government is making known to the German authorities its feelings regarding *iis massive repression. London, Dec. 14. It is officially announced that the ■ Vichy Cabinet unanimously approved Admiral Darlan's conclusions resultjing from the recent conversations villi German and Italian leaders. [ The British United Press correspondent at Vichy says it is believed that Admiat I Darlan’s policy aims to | keep France neutral but to defend the* French Empire wherever attacked. Cabinet intends to ensure that (France does not re-enter the war un- ' less provoked by aggression.
