i EXCELLENT XMAS DISPLAYS "BUY LOCALLY” IS THE SLOGAN. Marton and district residents are particularly well served by the business firms of Marton. Retail shops are now well into the Christmas shopping period and next week will see increased activity on the part of shoppers. Shop displays are excellent and the range of goods is surprisingly wide in variety and the high quality assures value. It is realised that shopping locally and supporting the industries 'of one’s own town is a matter of civic pride and of prosperity to the community generally. “So far business has been excellent and I feel sure tha' the final result of the present Christmas shopping period will he as good as ever." said a Marton retailer this week.
