AT TE AWAMUTU
WAIPA SUMMER MEETING PROSPECTS REVIEWED (Special.) Auckland, Dec. 12. The summer fixture of the Waipa Racing Club eventuates, circumstances permitting, at Te Awamutu to-morrow. Good fields will be parading, especially in the novices' race, which, as usual, will have to be divided. The form disclosed to-mor-row may not actually be valuable from an Auckland Cup view point, but it will show' the form the candidates are in. All will certainly be helpful in the case of the numerous horses going from here on the Taranaki circuit this month. In the Te Awamutu Cup horses likely to be in keen demana are Royevrus, Night Pilot, Kilcaso, Wildore. Court Favourite and Gay Rosette. The last-mentioned pair are speedsters who should be suited by this track, which has a short run-in. Lou Rosa, Greek Queen and The Cardinal are possibilities on form, too, although the track may be actually against them. Royevrus and Court Favourite may dispute supremacy. The open sprint, the Flying Handicap, seems to rest betw'een Te Takina and Sure Pay. the field in this event being of a very even nature.
