BRAVERY IN CAMPAIGN IN SYRIA (Recd. 6.40 p.m.) London. Nov. 28. The King has approved of the award ot the Victoria Cross to Lieutenant A. R. Cutler, Australian Military Forces, for most conspicuous bravery and sustained gallantry during the Syrian campaign in June and July, and outstanding bravery during the fighting at Merjayum.—U.P.A.
