COMMERCIAL EXAMS

WANGANUI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ENTRIES CLOSE ON OCTOBER 10. Entries for the Wanganui Chamber of Commerce commercial examinations to be held in the Wanganui Technical College from November 17 to 21 are to close on October 10. The subject will be English composition and business letter-writing; shorthand, typewriting (junior and senior), book-keeping, office practice, and handwriting. Last year the entries were a record and the results of the examinations created much public interest, the certificates and medals being preesnted to the successful candidates in the Wanganui City Council Chambers in February. Inquiries made this year indicate that many pupils are preparing for the examinations and it is expected that the number of entries last year will be exceeded.
