Fine Fish Observed.
Some very fine fish had been seen in the Patea and Manganui Rivers, and unless a bad spell of weather occurred, good fishing could ho expected at the opening of the trout, season on October 1. said a well-known Stratford sportsman on Wednesday There was a fair amount of water in th" rivers and streams, but they were in excellent condition. .
