"VIRGINIA.” Paramount’s long Technicolour production of "Virginia,” the modern romance of the South which co-stars Madeieine Carroll and Fred MacMurray, concludes to-day at the I Majestic Theatre. "Virginia” is thei third picture co-starring Madeleine] Carroll and Fred Mac Murry. Lovable I little Carolyn Lee, the baby star, does I some more picture stealing from Miss | Carroll and Mac Murray, but every-j body seems quite pleased about it. I “Virginia" tells the story of a South-1 ern girl who has been away so long from the ancestral home in Virginia that she has forgotten what Southern tradition means. Returning broke, to sell the old place, she falls in love with a Virginian who brings her to a realisation of her Southern heritage. The supporting cast of "Virginia" includes Stirling Hayden, six-foot-four newcomer who is expected by Paramount to win stardom in a very short | time, Marie Wilson, Tom Rutherfurd, Paul Hurst, and Helen Broderick.
