NOTES FROM TAIHAPE
WHERE TO WEAR R.S.A. BADGE. The R.S.A. badge should always be worn on the righ lapel, and service medals on the left lapel, or breast. This was explained at a recent meeting of the Taihape and District Returned Soldiers' Association, when the Mayor, Mr. L. B. H. de Lautour, who is one of the three honorary life members of the association, drew attention to the matter and wondered why the badge was worn on the right lapel and not the left. He was enlightened by Mr. W. Berridge. The other two honorary life members of the R.S.A. are Messrs. F. W. Somerville and D. Neagle. DENTAL CLINIC FEES. Though treatment at dental clinics is now free this does not mean that outstanding fees should not be paid. This point was made clear by Rev. E. T. King at a.'meeting of the Taihape Dental Clinic Committee this week when he pointed out that parents were still liable for fees that were due before the "free” scheme was introduced.
