WAVERLEY PLAY-READING
Members of the afternoon playreading circle gave an afternoon at Mrs. Mitcalf’s home on Tuesday. There were about 30 present, Mrs. Mitcalf being attired in a black frock. The drawing room was decorated with bowls of spring bulbs. Those reading the play, "The Middle Watch,” by lan liay and Stephen King-Hall, were Mesdames A. Morrison, Mitcalf, F. Sheppard. P. Graves, Andrew Elmslie, Strauchon, J. Stewart, G. Alexander, J.' Johnston, Barrow and McGregor.
