John Coull will sell at his sale rooms, Maria Place, beginning at 1 p.m. to-day, meat, bacon, cut flowers, vegetables of all kinds, poultry, smoked fish, fruit, etc. SHARPE, NORTH AND (O.S URGENT SALE TO-DAY. Messrs. Sharpe. North and Co. have received urgent: instructions to sell a big line of good furniture and many sundries to-day. Goods are now on view. CARTAGE OF WOOL Written tenders for the cartage and delivery of “contract” wool, hides, etc., at Wanganui, for a period of one year, as from September. 1941, will be received at the office of the District Traffic Manager. New Zealand Railways, Wanganui, up to noon on Wednesday, August 20.
