Three separate consignments totalled 25,867 scarves, 26,938 pairs of mittens, and 26,941 Balaclavas, giving a grand total, taking into account slocks held in Egypt, of 32,867 scarves, 39,538 pairs of mittens, 28,641. Balaclavas,

As more knitted comforts come to hand and the opportunity occurs for Jheir dispatch they will be sent, the object being to build up slocks to about 4000 of each class of goods. As a result of the splendid response of womenfolk there is no lack of supplies but shipping difficulties lend lo cause delay in dispatches.
