NAPIER-WAIROA ROAD
TO BE CLOSED FOR A PERIOD DIVERSION OF TRAFFIC’ TO NEW BRIDGE The Automobile Association (Wanganui) reports that it has beert advised by the Automobile Association (Hawke’s Bay) that the Public Works Department is closing the NapierWairoa Road for traffic as from 8 a.m. on Monday next, August 13, until further notice. This is necessary for the purpose of dismantling the existing temporary bridge over the Waikare River and deviating the traffic to the new bridge. It is anticipated that this work will be completed, weather permitting, and the road opened in two days.
