NATIONAL PARTY CANDIDATE
NEW BATTALION COMMANDER LILI TEN ANT-COLONEL GORDON Mr. W. McK. Gordon, recently appointed lieutenant-colonel to command the Ist. Battalion, Wellington West Coast Regiment of Territorials, has been selected as National Party candidate for Palmerston North as the result of a ballot.
The other nominee was Mr. M. H. C am. barrister and solicitor. Lieut.Colonel Gordon is also a member of the legal profession.
