ANOTHER EAGLE SQUADRON

FIRST BLOOD DRAWN JUNKERS CLAIMED VICTIM Ruguy, Aug. 11. A second all-American Eogle Squadron has been formed in the R.A.F. It already has had its first encounter with the enemy as a result of which the squadron claims a Junkers 88 probably destroyed. Two of its pilots were patioiling over an English port with fighters equipped with both cannon and ma-chine-guns, when they saw the Junkers emerge from thick cloud. They chased it and gave it a burst, with machine-guns. The enemy was last seen giving off volumes of black smoke and losing speed rapidly. The original eagle squadron has a score of seven enemy machines shot down.—B.O.W.
