RUSHED NORTHWARDS BY RIVER AND RAIL (Reed 10.40 p.m.) London, Aug. 11. The' Daily Mail's Basra correspondent says that British and American military supplies are rusiied northwards by river and rail immediately they arc unloaded from snips. Turkish self-confidence lias grown since Britain rendered the Basra supply route safe. Turkish shipments are given priority over all but the n:ost urgent military supplies for the British.— U.P.A. ’
