N.Z. CHEESE OUTPUT
SUGGESTION THAT ALL BE SENT TO BRITAIN A proposal that the whole of New Zealand's cheese production should be sent to Britain was made in a notice of a question asked by Mr. E. B. Gordon (Opposition, Rangitikei) of the Minister of Marketing. Hon. J. G. Barclay, in the House of Representatives yesterday. Mr. Gordon added that Britain was in urgent need of cheese supplies and such action could count as part of New Zealand’s contribution to the war effort.
